What is YODEL’s aim?

YODEL™ drives the modernization of cross-border business collaboration by converging physical and digital cluster ecosystems. YODEL offers two key services: the Call Catalyst (Pull) and Match Maker (Push).

Who can participate?

YODEL complements existing networks and initiatives in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. As a fully independent and open platform it is designed to support the development towards a shared economy and low carbon prosperity. YODEL  facilitates unmatched international outreach through the trusted GCCA Cluster partner network and strategic collaboration with NIA Ltd. – physically and digitally connecting local business ecosystems around the world.

What is the organizational structure?

YODEL is a not-for-profit initiative of a private consortium and is organized as a fond of Fondation des Fondateurs based in Zurich, Switzerland. As an umbrella foundation, it is monitored by the Swiss Federal Supervisory Board of Foundations.

What is GCCA?

The Global Cleantech Cluster Association (GCCA) was founded in 2010 and brings together 52 Clusters from 29 countries, representing 10’000+ member companies (as of August 2016). The GCCA Cluster network provides YODEL partners with personal access to trusted local cluster ecosystems and pre-vetted business partners, at a global scale.
